Our Approach & Story

About the Institute

Active Learning Institute LLC, founded by Vinay Kanth Rao Kodipelly, is based in Saint Louis, Missouri and builds upon an educational initiative originally founded in India. With over 14 years of teaching experience in Math, Statistics, and Data Analytics, we are passionate about redefining math education. Inspired by innovative U.S. and Indian teaching methodologies, our programs use active learning strategies and technology integration (including AI-powered techniques) to help students build confidence, deep problem-solving skills, and academic excellence.

We focus on high-quality tutoring, accelerated math enrichment, and fostering equitable, student-centered learning environments through dynamic instructional practices and community outreach. Our work continues a legacy supported by institutions like The University of Southern Mississippi's Center for Science and Mathematics Education.
