Welcome to ABACUS Camp!

Is your child in Grade K, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5? Give them a summer boost with our exciting **in-person ABACUS Summer Camp in Maryland Heights, MO!** This program makes learning math fundamentals fun and engaging using the ancient power of the ABACUS. We focus on building strong calculation skills, improving concentration, and boosting overall confidence in math, all in a supportive, hands-on environment with a **maximum of 5 students per group!** (We are also planning camps at local elementary schools - contact us for details!)

Students will learn to visualize numbers and calculations, leading to enhanced mental math abilities and a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. It's more than just math; it's brain training disguised as fun!

Sharanya Narra

IIVA Certified International Abacus Instructor

Sharanya Narra is a seasoned Math and Robotics educator with extensive experience teaching students aged 6-12 (Grades K-5). She is internationally certified in Abacus instruction by the Indian Institute of Vedic Mathematics and Abacus (IIVA).

Currently an instructor at Nutty Scientists in St. Louis, she specializes in project-based learning using platforms like Edison Robot EDRV3, Arduino, and Sphero Mini. While previously teaching through Nutty Scientists STL, she currently instructs Robotics, Block-Based Coding Programming, Introduction to Arduino and loT, and "A Trip to Planets" in the Rockwood and Parkway school districts via the afterschool EAS program.

Her diverse background includes roles as a Math Tutor at the University of Missouri–St. Louis and as a Math Education Administrator at the Active Learning Institute in India. With advanced degrees in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Sharanya brings a passion for hands-on learning and fostering creativity in young minds. Her workshops are known for being interactive and fostering confidence in young learners.
